Don shares: Raised in an Air Force flying family, I attended ten schools in four states and Japan prior to starting a 38-yr. career in high tech. While in Japan, I had a two-year assignment at the Kwajalein Missile Range in the Marshall Islands, now the Reagan Test Site. With over 15 years of experience in major defense programs, the Pacific Ocean has always been an interest to me.

I have served two terms in the City of Burien Council, two terms on the Shelter Bay Board of Directors and at different times, I was a member of most community committees. Appointed by the Governor, I served five years on the Alaska Way Viaduct and Seawall Replacement Program representing the cities in South King County.
