With the approach of warmer weather comes increased activity with boats and recreational vehicles. Our protective covenants govern the limitations on the storage of recreational vehicles and boats on any lot, tract, or parcel within Shelter Bay.
As stated in the Covenants and Restrictions, Article IV.19, “No trailer, travel trailer, fifth wheel, boat trailer, mobile home, motor home, boat, camper or similar property shall be stored …for longer than one seven (7) day period, or portion thereof, within any thirty (30) day period, without prior written approval of the committee responsible, unless stored in a garage or carport.” This does allow the staging of recreational vehicles or boats on your property for the stated periods of time.

Shelter Bay does provide a well-maintained and secure storage lot for long-term storage of vehicles and boats. Storage spots are available for rent (at very reasonable rates) for residents of Shelter Bay.
