Daylight Savings Time reminder: Change Your Clocks, Change Your Batteries.
It’s a perfect time to check the batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Fire District 13, as part of their CARES program, offers FREE smoke alarm installation to keep homes safe.
Through their partnership with Red Cross Northwest, their CARES team installed fifteen smoke detectors in four Shelter Bay homes this past month. For 2025, one hundred smoke detectors within our district were replaced, all for free!
