This year’s Music on the Green (August 15 at the BBQ Pavilion) has been updated to include Pinoy Taste, a Filipino food tent. You may already be familiar with this community favorite. The family-run food provider typically can be found during the summer months at the Anacortes Farmers Market.
Pinoy Taste will provide $15 meals; beverage not included. Three combo plates to include a selection of: pancit noodles, a BBQ kebab, and lumpia (fried spring roll). Cash and credit cards are accepted.
The Social & Rec Committee will not be providing a hot grill. The intent of the day is to provide emphasis on the music.
We hope this will be the start of inviting food trucks to future events, to enhance the social elements of the events.
