A Waterfront Community
Shelter Bay is located on the ancestral lands of the Swinomish Tribe who are our hosts, neighbors, and friends.
Our community lies between the beautiful San Juan Islands and Skagit County’s farmlands in La Conner, Washington, and includes over 800 homes, a marina, two beachside parks, a nine-hole golf course, a clubhouse, a swimming pool, tennis & pickleball courts, a playground, a library, and multiple walking trails.
Cross the Rainbow Bridge to the town of La Conner to visit cozy restaurants and hotels, gift shops, supermarket, pharmacy, and other stores. La Conner is home to the famous annual Tulip Festival that attracts visitors every year from Seattle, Vancouver and beyond.
The towns of Anacortes, Burlington, and Mt. Vernon located 25 minutes away provide convenient access to hospitals, entertainment venues, larger shopping centers, big box stores, ferry terminals, a train station and government offices.
